It developed as part of hip hop culture, a subculture defined by four key stylistic elements: MCing/rapping, DJing/scratching, break dancing, and graffiti writing. RAP stands for 'rhythm and poetry'.

With a very limited colour palette, consisting of just a very light pinky-brown colour and an image of him wearing black clothing. The most recent post is of a bright orange car, which shares synergistic elements with one of his most successful music video's: "Lost in Empathy".
In the video Rejjie Snow Walking around a deserted area, which has a blue-grey tint making his red outfit stand out, tying in with the piping out orange colour of the car.

Dubstep
is a genre of electronic dance music that originated in South London, England. Emerging in the late 1990s as a mixture and development of garage, broken beat, drum and bass, jungle, dub and reggae. In the UK the origins of the genre can be traced back to the growth of the Jamaican sound system party scene in the early 1980s. The music features syncopated drum and percussion patterns, allowing for a party and dance music genre to be created.
His website consists of a black and white background with merchandise in full colour, making it pop out. However, overall has a minimalistic colour scheme and resides mainly in black and white. There is a re-curring image of a Union Jack, which subverts Rusko's usual colour scheme reinforcing the pop of colour.
Synergy is continued through to his album cover for 'Songs', which is his most recent album released. This album cover consists of a collage of polaroids, which shows a minimalistic, black and white based theme. Similarly to the website however, the album cover has pops of colour including red and yellow. The text is small and unnoticeable at a first glance, adhering to the theme of keyboard and recording studios, text looks as if it is off the front of a tape.
